From the initial search for a childcare centre to witnessing her daughter&#8217;s educational growth, Josephine shares a heartfelt and honest reflection on the journey.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Every parent\u2019s childcare journey is deeply personal \u2014 filled with hopes, questions, and the desire to find a centre that feels just right. At Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre, we believe the best way to share what we offer is through the voices of our families. Watch the full interview below:<\/p>\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O5tjcMYKF6g?si=_vDCCOGyPcmkwDVR\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Finding the Right Fit<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;As a working professional, there came a time when I needed to place my daughter into care,&#8221; Josephine begins. &#8220;That started our journey to find the right place \u2014 somewhere that would support her education, offer flexibility, and make us feel confident she was in good hands.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Josephine explored multiple centres in the local area, weighing up each one carefully. &#8220;We were looking at a range of things: the quality of education, the food offered to the children, flexible hours, and how the educators and management connected with families.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After extensive searching, one centre stood out \u2014 Hoppers Crossing Montessori. \u201cI was fortunate enough to find the management team here and the educators who, every day, provide the best service to our child.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>The Enrolment Process<\/h2>\n<p>Enrolling her daughter was seamless and reassuring. \u201cThe team emailed through all the information I needed, booked an appointment with me, and sat me down to explain the available hours, menus, and how the educators develop the children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were also taken on a tour of the centre, which was spotless \u2014 everything was so clean, and I was impressed they had dedicated little beds for the children. As a parent, those small details made a big difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>A Nurturing Start<\/h2>\n<p>Starting childcare with a baby naturally came with nerves. \u201cShe was quite small, and I was anxious,\u201d Josephine admits. \u201cBut from the beginning, I could see the educators giving her the love and attention she needed \u2014 whether it was with eating, toilet training, or simply making her feel safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over time, Josephine watched her daughter flourish. \u201cShe\u2019s just developed so much. She knows how to write her name, hold her pencil, identify colours, and even understands the solar system! She talks about astronomical concepts and loves learning about animals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Josephine particularly appreciates how Montessori blends learning with experience. \u201cThey have excursions where butterflies and chickens are brought in, and she gets to play while learning. It\u2019s a beautiful combination.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Support for the Whole Family<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cBalancing work and family life is challenging,\u201d Josephine shares candidly. \u201cBut the team at Hoppers Crossing Montessori has been a blessing. The educators genuinely connect with the children. They take the time to understand each child\u2019s unique needs, and I see it not just in my daughter but in the way they interact with other children too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She lights up when talking about her daughter\u2019s reading habits. \u201cShe spends time in the reading corner and has developed a real love for books \u2014 and she\u2019s only five! Even simple things like pouring water from one jug to another have become learning moments that help build coordination and confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cooking and gardening activities are also part of the curriculum, nurturing creativity and responsibility. \u201cEvery day, I see the benefits of this holistic education. It\u2019s not just about academics \u2014 it\u2019s about shaping who she is.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Preparing for the Next Chapter<\/h2>\n<p>As her daughter gets ready to transition into primary school, Josephine feels reassured. \u201cOf course, it\u2019s daunting thinking about the next step. But with the foundation she\u2019s had here, I know she\u2019s ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She adds proudly, \u201cShe can write her name, count confidently, and communicate clearly with others. That confidence is a direct result of the care and teaching she\u2019s received here.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>A Strong Sense of Community<\/h2>\n<p>Josephine encourages other families considering childcare or looking to move centres to give Hoppers Crossing Montessori a chance. \u201cWhat I\u2019ve seen and experienced over the years \u2014 I couldn\u2019t be happier,\u201d she says sincerely.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t just a centre. It\u2019s a community. Our child has been loved, educated, kept safe, and supported.
